Dell Pride joins FLEX COURT as the Western Regional Sales Manager

Dell Pride is the founder of Diamondell Tennis, a resort tennis management company, and the Tennis Director for every major resort hotel in the downtown area of San Diego, CA. The only thing the Marriott Marina, Manchester Grand Hyatt, San Diego Sheraton Hotel and Marina, and Doubletree Mission Valley agree on completely is "Dell Pride knows tennis". As Director of Tennis and Head Tennis Pro, the area Tennis Pro shops are an opportunity for Dell to highlight his products and talents Advisory Staff member for HEAD/Penn, GAMMA Sports, PUMA, and several other tennis manufacturing companies. Dell is the also Western Regional Sales Manager for Bancroft tennis. Dell has traveled and worked as a staff member for the ATP Tour, WTA Tour, U.S. OPEN GRAND SLAM, NCAA National Championships, National Junior circuit, and countless USTA events and ProAm fund raisers. Dell is also founder of San Diego Community Tennnis Association and Co-founder of Christian Tennis Ministries.
Dell has played tennis on every level available starting with Junior USTA events, College Tennis at Tennessee State University, Professional Tennis on the U.S. Satellite circuit, and now participates in USTA Adult National events. Dell plays tennis both right handed and left handed, the result of an injury suffered early in his satellite touring career. Desperate to continue competing and coaching on a National Level, Dell taught himself to play left handed while his right shoulder and wrist healed from muscle damage. The idea to teach himself to play left handed came from a left handed junior student Dell was working with at the time of his injury, the little boy would only practice his left handed serve if Dell would practice with him (and look just as foolish as any beginner would who was learning to serve). Practicing left handed gave Dell a reconnection with what it was like to learn again and the confidence that he could learn, compete, and instruct at a high level with both hands. Since Dell knows sports injuries, he also knows WHY he chose FLEX COURT, Designed for Ultimate Performance & recommended by orthopedic surgeons.

Dell is a graduate of Tennessee State University with a BA in Business Management with emphasis in Marketing, a certified USPTA and USPTR Tennis Professional, and a certified USTA Umpire. Dell takes education seriously and feels his greatest contribution to any junior student is to pass on the importance of a college education.
Dell is married to Elizabeth, and they are proud first time parents of their 2 year old daughter, Saige Elizabeth. Dell and his family reside in Highland Park, San Diego, CA.
